January 25 and 26 2020. The Regina Symphony Orchestra plays my wind quintet What Happens When We Move on their concert “Coming Together”.

January 31 2020. Sackville NB’s Mount Allison University presents “Trombone, North of 60”, with trombonist Dale Sorensen. Dale has commissioned and will premiere my new work for trombone+percussion “Ghost of a Giant in the Ground” with Joël Cormier on percussion.

February 9 2020. Calgary’s Ensemble Resonance performs The Raven Translations (clarinet, piano, violin, soprano) - which they commissioned and premiered in 2019! Their concert: Music, Words & Technology: the Impact.

Feb 16, Feb 23, May 16 2020 - Music Composition Workshops for Yellowknife music students, with special guest session with Prairie Debut / NACC Artists Amy Hillis and Megan Milatz.

February 23 2020. Calgary’s Luminous Voices premieres a new choral work of mine inspired by women living in the Tudor age. alongside many beautiful Rennaisance vocal works and another new commission by Zachary Wadsworth in their concert “The Tudors”.

March 1 2020. Winnipeg choir Canzona premieres a new choral work of mine in their concert “Canzoni d'Amore - Love Songs” featuring works by women composers in the 18th and 21st Centuries - including Canadians Laura Hawley, Marie-Claire Saindon and myself.

POSTPONED/CANCELLED May 6 and 7 2020. Vancouver women’s choir Elektra premieres “The Lost Words: A Spell Book” project with 10 Canadian composers commissioned to set the text of this fantastic book for treble choir and accompaniment. I got to set the texts for the “Lark” and “Heather” spells!
