Two opening verses reflect on the situation: a hopeful lover in a northern latitude looks around, and sees romance in the world around her. The problem: the object of her affection is far away in the south. The solution appears in the four choruses that follow: using the timeless combination of pencil, paper, stamp and envelope, love is secured. However, letters have a way of going slower than normal when love is involved! Performed by Aurora Chorealis, Yellowknife NWT.
