As I prepared to record my album of lyrical folk music and edgy, enchanting chamber music, I am presenting The Caribou Masquerade, a public concert of my folk songs. Thursday May 12, 7pm at the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre in Yellowknife, I'll be playing on the beautiful grand piano at the museum cafe. Admission is by donation as a fundraiser for the album. Some of these songs may end up on the album, and I want your thoughts on which ones should make the cut! Come with your ears and hearts open to music about the north, about love, loss, beauty, and curiosities.
Audience comments from recent house-concerts
